Day 4 Daniel Fast More On Day 4. More Fruits & Veggies, More Liquids, & More Exercise!!! Oh no you say No More Please (lol) but, Your Spirit, Soul & Body have, More Joy, More Clarity, & More Energy that will continue to Grow as you continue on this Daniel Fast.
Your Spirit, Soul & Body know exactly what they need to be Complete, but the stress of every day life drowns out the voice inside that’s screaming “HELP ME I’M DYING!!!” It is very important to STOP & LISTEN, to what your body is saying. Early in the morning is one of the best times to do this. For these 21 days practice getting up even 15 minutes earlier than you normally do. You don’t even have to get out of bed. Just close your eyes and take 3 Deep Breathes in and out pause and listen. It may same silly at first but as you practice it you will begin Hear More, Feel More and Know More.By now you’re probably saying not salad again!!! Well what about a nice warm bowl of Veggie Soup. You can make a big pot and freeze it in portions so that you can have it when you need it. There are so many variations that you can create such as, Minestrone, Tomato, Sweet Potato etc. Get creative.
Ingredients (organic whenever possible):
1/4 cup water (or vegetable broth)
1/2 of a red onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
3 celery stalks, diced
3 medium carrots, diced
1 small head of broccoli, florets
1 cup chopped tomatoes
1 tablespoon fresh ginger, peeled and minced
1 teaspoon turmeric (I used powdered)
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper, or to taste (optional)
fine-grain sea salt and black pepper, to taste
6 cups water (or 4 cups vegetable broth + 2 cups water)
2 cups kale, de-stemmed and torn in pieces
1 cup purple cabbage, chopped
juice from 1/2 of a small lemon (or a whole lemon, depending how much lemon flavor you prefer)
Don’t forget that this Life Style Change does not happen overnight. It is a process that will get easier as You KEEP GOING!!! Be Well.
