Day 21

YOU DID IT!!! YOU MADE IT!!! YOU FINISHED!!! finish line whole new beginningDay 21 of Your Daniel Fast is finally here and you made it across the finish line. Give yourself a hand and a quick pat on the back because You did a great job, but DON’T STOP KEEP GOING!!!! Dont Stop Keep GoingNow the real work begins lol, but so does the real results.  As I said before in a previous article, it takes at least 4 weeks to see the changes for Yourself, 8 weeks for your friends and family to see it, and 12 weeks for the rest of the world to notice.” 

 

Where do I go from here? What do I do next? Well, today you get to have a rest day. You get to pamper and treat take a breakyourself because you just put in another full week of training. Do some Pilates, Yoga, or just some stretching. Go for a long walk or take a spa day if you can and let your Spirit, Soul and Body Relax and Recharge.

 

 

If you are going to slowly start adding meat back into your diet, make sure it’s all natural, lean non-gmo meat and try to keep your red meats to once or twice a week.  Use ground turkey or fish instead as these are lower in fat and better for your digestive system.  Here’s a perfect “break your fast” soup recipe that’s hearty and full of veggies. This recipe has some chicken in it but if you’ve made the switch over to Vegan then just leave the chicken out.

Healthy Chicken & Veggie Soup Chicken-Vegetable-Soup-Recipe

Ingredients
chicken breasts
3-4 ribs of celery
3-4 large carrots
2 medium onions
5-6 garlic cloves
1 package frozen spinach or 1 bag fresh

1 head broccoli or 1 bag frozen
1 package sliced fresh mushrooms (optional)
any other vegetables you have around and want to add
turmeric
oregano
basil
cayenne pepper
parsley
sea salt
pepper
garlic powder (optional)
Other herbs to taste (rosemary, thyme,etc.)

Instructions
Boil chicken in large pot until cooked adding chicken or vegetable broth. Remove from water and chop into small pieces. Add chopped celery, carrots, onions, garlic cloves to boiling water. Add turmeric, oregano, basil, cayenne, parsley, sea salt, pepper and garlic or herbs to the boiling water. I add 1-2 TBSP of each except cayenne, which I add about ½ tsp or to taste. Boil until vegetables are cooked. Then add spinach, mushrooms and broccoli. Remove from heat and serve.

Remember this is just the beginning Smile-The-best-is-yet-to-comeso don’t get discouraged if everything is not going according to schedule. There is no schedule just forward movement. If you made it through these 21 Days you’re headed in the right direction.
