Well You Made It!!! The first 7 Days of the Daniel Fast are OVER Yeah!!! You should be PROUD of Yourself for making it through. On this 7th day you need to take time to rest Your Spirit, Soul, & Body and reflect on how your week went and what improvements can be made for the following weeks.
Some quiet meditation time will do a lot to feed your Spirit today. Just find a moment when you’re alone to pause and reflect on all the great things that are happening in your life right now. Put on your favorite inspirational music and just allow the cares and worries to subside. Find the quiet place inside of you and just stay there for awhile. You will find as you practice the art of meditation that not only will it help Strengthen your Spirit it will also alleviate stress in the body and soul.
The Soul is in my opinion the very heart of you. It’s the part of you that houses your emotions and the essence that makes you a good and decent person. It is what makes You “YOU”nique. Today maybe take a long walk, read a book, go out to lunch with friends, or take those dance classes you have been promising yourself you would take. Do something to stimulate your mind and heart.
As for the Body, today you can take a break from the aerobic aspect and instead do some stretching. After all those days of interval training your body needs a day to heal and repair itself. Stretching allows the body to “improve it’s athletic performance”, and decrease the risk of injuries. When it comes to exercise don’t get discouraged if you don’t see results immediately. It Usually takes approx. 4 weeks to see Your body changing, 8 weeks for your friends and family to see it, and 12 weeks for the rest of the world to notice. KEEP GOING!!! Be Well.
