The basic difference between a diet mentality and a lifestyle mentality is simply a matter of perspective. Having the right perspective may not make veggies taste better than chocolate, but it can make all the difference in the world when it comes to achieving your goals, avoiding unnecessary suffering along the way, and hanging onto your achievements over the long haul.

RUN far away from any program that promises that you will lose an unrealistic amount of weight in a short amount of time For example: “ten pounds in one week”, states you can lose weight without exercising, or cost you an extreme amount of money to join.  These are fad diets and will do you far more harm than good.  Instead look to add calorie-burning activities into your day, cut down on your portion sizes or the amount of food that you eat and add fruits and veggies.  It’s okay to eat treats once in a while but don’t overdo.  Making these healthy changes will help you to lose weight, and then keep the weight off.  You’re the only one who can decide what’s right for you; only you can change your attitude and perspective, but once you do you will be happy with the results!!!
